Curriculum
Our school has chosen High Reach Learning, an award-winning research-supported curriculum, to use in the classrooms. Through this curriculum, your child will experience a well-rounded balance of learning activities and many opportunities to develop important skills needed to be successful in school.
Philosophy
We make the development of each child's positive self-concept a priority. Through individualized learning, we supply the tools our students need to succeed in a lifetime of learning. With a developmentally appropriate curriculum, a wide variety of organized sport actvities, hands-on experiences, play-based learning, Spanish lessons,and gardening, we strive for the enrichment of the whole child. At Barton Creek Child Development Center we Love the Outdoors!
Our three oversized playgrounds are shaded by native hill-country trees lending a place for children to explore even in the hot summer days. The outdoor swimming pool allows the children to take lessons on site during the warmer
months of the year. As part of our curriculum, our students also participate in organic gardening.
We are located in West Austin right off Southwest Parkway. We are convenient to many areas including Oak Hill, Bee Cave, Dripping Springs, Circle C, Westlake and the Lake Travis area.
